I just bought an 84 crew cab one ton so slamming it kinda fits with the era. I think a 6/8.5 drop will do nicely and should look decant towing my 30' scarab which by the way is also an 84. Hmmm, maybe I am stuck in the 80's :eek:

How long have you had it? What rear axle ratio? Fuel mileage so far? How does it tow?

2 months.....3500 miles.....4.3 ratio.....the dash display says avg 15.8 mpg (I have not checked it for accuracy)......towing a 42 Fountain 10.2 mpg.....so far I love the truck... much superior ride quality compared to my 07 F250
