ICP sensor should be around 120 or so and the connector should be around 20 bucks or so. the IPR valve is around 300 bucks last i checked. Diesel parts guy is out sick today so i will see about getting the right part numbers for you. The dealer you are dealing with should be able to find the parts you need rather easily as these are common components known to fail on an 03 6.0. Take into mind though that a dealer in a geographical area that diesel trucks arent popular in probably doesnt sell, service or keep parts in stock for trucks they dont see very often. Its not cost effective for them to stock parts they dont move that often and the parts personel might not deal with diesel parts all that much. You might try a dealer that does a lot of fleet sales for local government agencies. They usually sell and service quite a few fleet diesel trucks for maintenance departments.

So you can hear a whinning sound? Once you get your new icp sensor installed with a new connector drive it and watch your icp pressure and icp desired data and compare. they should be very close to eachother at all times. if you are seeing that icp is not achieving what icp desired reads you MAY have a bad pump. the loud whinning sound would be a good indication of this so long as its still there with the belt driven engine accesories not spinning by removing the belt and running the engine at the same speeds as you did to hear the whinning sound. The whinning noise will sound almost like air in a power steering system.

quite possibly being that you have had a recent turbo rebuild. that tsb could apply to you. im not sure whats out there for independent shops to perform the turbo learn procedure so that may have to be handled by the dealer.

You have to remember im trying to help you diagnose your truck from several hundred miles away. its a lot easier to give advice when i can look at the truck. Im mainly guiding you based on what we know is bad right now. i would be more concerned about the icp problem right now as i dont know what your icp sensor is reading when driving or how erratic it may be reading either. thats why i asked about a whinning noise. Im just trying to go with what we know and can see is bad for sure right now. and your icp sensor is reading low right now. I dont know if you have access to a smoke machine or what tools you have available to you so i wanted to fix what was obvious and work into more complicated things later. If you have a smoke machine and a good scanner we can go into other systems and find problems with those if you like. the low map reading your getting concerns me as it would indicate boost thats very low and the truck wouldnt get out of its own way even without pulling a boat. I want to make sure we are talking about the same sensor reading. If you used a pressure gauge 16 psi is about 8 psi short of what you would want on an 03. How did you check boost pressure? by an actual gauge or by watching MAP sensor pressure?

r8pd 8p. make sure you have the latest calibration in the pcm by taking it to a dealer and having them check it and if not latest calibration have them install the latest calibration.

I have a full repair shop smoke machine all data identifix Genisys and the Next gen of the OTC scanner i also have the Brink scanner from SNap On. I can get a smoke machine its right behind my tool box. I was checking MAP at the Scanner not at the Engine. I seem to hear the turbo spool and souns ok but still lack of power (obvisoly that why we are here). Let me know what you want to know for DATA and what they should be aftre work today I will slap it back on and check it. How do you do a turbo relearn? Could that be a caused problem? Also how as the OASIS on the truck need any recalls tsb updates or has had any?

OK well thankyou very much. So what can I gather from all of this do you feel? Say another IPC sensor? I dont see any oil on ground but not saying it isnt bad either.

thats all the warranty history on your truck. no open recalls on it.

Had I known you had full shop with all tools we would have dealt with this a bit differently. You always follow KOEO codes first and you deal with the first codes under KOEO so being that p2290 is usually one of the last codes Follow the tsb. first and then we will address the ICP issue.

I want to know what MAP, BARO and EP are reading Key on Engine off. We are looking for a sensor that is reading incorrectly. After ICP replacement I want to know what ICP pressure and ICP desired is reading on WOT accel at 70 mph as well as IPR percentage. I also want to know what IPR reading is at hot idle with ICP around 580 psi.

I dont know its not descriptive enough. you may be able to call the dealer and ask them what their history says in their computer. This is probably the least descriptive labor claims report i have seen. I would assume some injectors were probably replaced.
