Have any of you guys with the 650's done any performance mods? Chips, Air box, Engine upgrades....ect.....
Who makes the best chip upgrade?

You could put a big ****ing airhorn on it....??

turbo94gto 11-15-2010 11:35 PM

I had the 350hp tune done to my computer, and a intake and exhaust. The intake made the high pitch turbo noise that wa so god damb loud I had to take it off. As for the computer I sent it next day air to this place in Canada and for 500 bucks they re flashed it with a 350hp factory CAT tune. The truck was only down for 3days.

My computer started out as a 230hp cat, I will try and find the invoice that had the name of the company.

John,

Call Bill and he can tell you anything about the up grades. He has done it to his 650.

C u soon.

cagedlx 11-16-2010 11:48 PM

im a pete dealer... the c7 can be turned up to 330... factory, and you can do that at pretty much any cat dealer, or big pete or kenworth dealership..

after you do that check out TS Performance, they make a plug in chip good for 30%-- or bout 100 extra hp
http://www.tsperformance.com/agr-power.html

we sell that c7 to lots of people, my dad including... who has it in a class 8 dump truck, truck weighs 28000 empty, and grosses over 75k sometimes... C7 seems to do alright, i really think with those 2 things that baby should have ALL the power you could need!

weldcrane 11-17-2010 09:24 PM

my cat dealer told me my 210 hp needed piston changed amongst other internals ?

I found a Diablo programer for the Cat engine. Cataloge state a 0-15-30% HP Gain.
Anybody have any experience with this programer?

My opinion, fwiw, is that's not enough motor for what he's grossing, even with flashing. I would say 500hp+. That would be somewhere around 1800ftlbs tq which would get those big loads moving a lot quicker.
