4.56 is standard and a power wagon will tow anything you hook it to! Yeah the fuel gauge will go down fast but the truck is impressive for what it is. My friend has one. He uses it on the job as a tool. Very helpful. NO other truck like it. Yeah a diesel sounds like it would make it better, but the fact is all diesels are to heavy and will just sink once off road.

I agree on all accounts, and diesels are not really the best platform for 4 wheelin...too heavy..

I don't need the 6.5 bed, the shorter one on the 1500 would do fine
...JS

6.5 feet IS the short bed. 8 feet is the long bed.

I rode in a friend's last week in Florida. Those things are loaded to the MAX. It might as well be a 4WD Lexus.

If fuel prices go through the roof again the diesel trucks value would decrease I would think making the gas motor more desireable under certian circumstances. Friend picked up a 392 hemi quad cab. With the cylinder delete option it gets 20 mpg on the highway with 392 gears. He only tows a 7k boat 5% of the time so he thought the gas motor would make more cent$ for his use. Love the look of the truck Randy. Good luck with the sale. Randy really takes care of his toys. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from him.
