Yeah - that is EXACTLY what I have read over the years, and mirrors my experience....

I just bought a 2010 F450 with the 6.4, truck is completely stock.
What should I be looking at doing to the truck, DPF delete with a tuner?
Anyhting else I should do to make it a trouble free ride??
Thanks,
mike

Vette,

I sent you pm, not sure if it went through though.

Where is the best spot to put the small micron fuel filter, and what type of filter.
Can you get the dpf, egr delete kit from one source, and what's the best tune.

Sorry to highjack.

I have a 07 Ford F 350 diesel dually, we tow our 38 ft Cigarette from Nj. To FlA, every winter, so we change our oil every trip which is about 3,000 miles, I use Motorcraft oil, the truck has 40,000 miles on it, it has never burned a qt of oil
