Top Gear: Dually Trucks
 

Not sure if it was an old episode but they had a special on dually trucks last night comparing dodge, ford, and chevy. Just an fyi. Also there wasnt much useful information in the episode. They tended to just do destructive things with them.

The first few episodes have been MUCH better than last season.

The F450 Drifting was hilarious.

Pretty impressive drift for a dually.

I was surprised to see the Dodge get dusted so bad during the dragrace.

I've been searching for a rerun of it all day! Any links?

Are we talking about the Britard version (except for Clarkson) , or the American version with the 2 no names guys and Tanner Faust?

Hate the British version, those two a-hole are always ripping on the US.

LOVE the American version! The Dually episode was great!

Don't know why they had a F-450 and the Dodge and Chevy where 3500's. Didn't seem like a fair comparison.

I saw that episode and it was the best one I have seen from the American version, the drifting f450 was bad as*. . I personally like the UK version better, the 3 guys in the American version seemed like tools.

I agree,,,,,I like the UK version better.

Maybe I just dont like the US version is an exact copy just put here

this would be true if they did a major payload, they just dragged burned and pulled stuff down, so don't think that the 450 really had a advantage, maybe thats why it sand in the stone :lolhit:

towing capacities between the 450 and the new 3500 are pretty close!

I was annoyed that they didn't know how to disable the traction control in the Chevy. You just have to hold the TC button in for about 5 seconds to turn it off. It will roast the tires, no problem.

For good reason... North Americans can't build a good vehicle. The Europeans are a decade ahead of us in technology and implimentation.

Really? Do the Euros make a dually truck that will fit their narrow highways and city streets?

I saw that episode, useless test, the ***got driving the chevy dually couldn't get it to burn the tires????? A truck test obviously needs to have the SAME driver put the trucks thru their paces, the guy driving the Ford new how to run the hell out of ****!! Aside from prejudice against America I actually like the British show better as they do cooler stuff-skeet throwing with rpg's and a car launcher!!!!!

Love the British version, much better IMO. And besides, we deserve a good ripping from time to time.

I prefer the British version. American version is OK.

The shows getting better, but Brit version is still much better.... you just can't beat the chemistry between Clarkson/Hammond/May and the Brit humor for the show.

Clarkson's comparisons are the best. While sliding a car through a corner, he said something like, "this car is as keen to stick its rear out as George Michael."

I've got to agree there. I think the British version has the American version on two points though. Chemistry and Photography.
