Trailer Wiring?
I'm wiring my new EOH Actuator to my 7 pin plug. My question is, do you guys just solder and heat shrink your wires or do you use connectors, solder, heat shrink? Also should I put dielectric grease over the connection or some other corrosive prevention measure? TIA.

I ran all of these connections into one of my toolboxes, but now I wish I had not. My boxes get wet on rare occasion due to crappy ramps. I wish I had mounted it higher/more forward on the trailer. If it gets to the point that I have to redo it, I'll make sure I don't have to worry about that again.
Myco sells the "little black box" if you call them and ask for it. The 7-pin pigtail I bought (online) had all the right colors, in all the wrong places. I don't know why that is, but it was very easy to swap them to the right trailer wires via the ring terminal box. Also, if you want to add back up lights (which I have), and flashing lights (which I might); it's pretty darn convenient as opposed to a hard wired connection.
