Best tires these days for Duramax?

Just curious what everyone is running. My truck is going to need a set pretty soon, and after many sets of BFG All-Terrains I am very unhappy with the life I got out of the current set. Price went way up and life way down.

I have 285 Michelins on my '05 Duramax 2500. They've got 80,000 miles on them and still have a chitload of tread left. well worth the $$ and they ride nice too!

I got 42K out of the pizza-cutters that came on it from the factory. I don't remember what brand they were.

Do you guys know which version of the LTX you are running? They have several different styles listed.

They are expensive but good year silent armor. Had them on my diesel for about 12k and showed no signs of wear before I got rid of the truck. They are not loud and get great traction. Friend has them on his diesel as well. TO be honest I barely used 4x4 last winter at all with these tires maybe 4-5 times here in up state NY

Many like the Nitto Terra Grabler, that'll be a good choice too. They've worked great on our Land Cruiser.
