2011 vs 2012 Ford SD
Did Ford make any real changes from the '11 to '12 Super Duty?
The '12s are on the lots, but the '11s have a good rebate deal...
Do I spend more to get the '12 for any other reason other than one model year???

I think the major change (although not listed) is the tranny. Quite a few guys with 11's were/are having tranny problems and seems the 12's have new gutz and are working. Guys with 11's are asking for the 12' tranny and Ford says no (at least that is what I read on the forums)

You know Eddie, after I put the H+S tuner and DPF delete on it, that truck never had another tranny issue. Now fuel delivery/starvation was another thing. You'll like the new Ford.

With the 6k cash back seems there are some good deals on left over 11's.

My personal truck 11 F350 with the 325 60 R20's did experience some flaired shifts..but that is 99% gone. Ive had 2 flash's and power gets to the ground faster, shifts quicker, and does not feel no where like our GMC.
Our 11 2500 GMC has been in the shop, truck shifts hard, actually too hard, and youll find bullentins on this. Nice truck overall, but GM needs to improve on there interiors..even the Denalli doesnt cut it anymore.
The 11.5 Dodge Cummins HO has been great. This Long Trail dually has changed my mind about Dodge. She is a lil light on power having 350/800 but gets the job done..and the interior is as nice as the Ford but just not quite as comfortable.
I also thought I read they put a sway bar and stiffened the frame some..which I dont know that I like since the 350 goes off road some and you need that articulation.

Most OEM's keep changing things after SOP on the first model year, they just keep working on the punch list
Don't know about the frame.
Jassman,
How many miles on the Dodge?

On the late 11's I have been looking at the ad will state "Standard" front sway bar or say they have the front and rear sway bar option.

I see the front sway bars.. I just checked. I checked the 350 and no rear sway bar. I did change out to the adjustable Rancho 9000xl shocks which made a big handeling difference.
I have not been in her for a week or so..approx 2800-3500 miles.
