what have you found j.h???

waterboy222 12-14-2011 03:55 PM

Youre going to be looking at 2800 miles at about $1.50/mile for a CHEAP guy.. If you want someone that has good boating experience, the RIGHT insurance and will pay attention to stuff like loosefitting covers, bad bearings, tires, etc, expect to pay $2.25+/mile..

But its Christmas time and everything is negotiable! good luck!

i wonder if it woulf be cheaper to float the boat to you,,on a ship??

cajflynn 12-17-2011 11:12 PM

That should shouldn't cost you more than 2500 to ship.

I disagree. I paid 4000 for 2100 miles to get a 38 Special from Lake Winnipisauki, New Hampshire to the Houston, Texas area.
The carrier was a boat transport company and fully insured.
I was to scared to go with the low priced individuals who couldn't provide a commercial transport insurance certificate.

See ya,
Kelly
