'01 F250, tried to back out of the Garage on Saturday, and heard a bang and the pedal went to the floor. The lining had fallen off the pad, and this is what I found :eekdrop:

those are probably a composite material as they have put them on alot of vehicles ive broke em compressing the pistons with a big pair of channel locks..

Pad material rusted , fell apart and pistons traveled out to far and broke , they are fragile , phenolic material

Seems that is exactly what happened. I'm a little peeved since the pads still had about 3/4 life left in them. Gotta love road salt :angry-smiley-038:
