mini bus towing

There must be a reason that no one converts mini buses to tow rigs but there are some low mileage DRW E 450 Super duty mini buses with 7.3 s that are 25% cost of similar crew cab 250s, is there a reason this wouldn't tow a 10K boat?

A buddy of mine converted one into a limo bus. He has a 32 Blue Lightning he plans on towing it with. Only problem I see is there is alot of length from the rear axle to the hitch. Sway might be an issue

I have a e450 cab and chasis that I made into a nice tow unit . 70 inch peterbuilt sleeper , double bunk sleeper and 8 ft flat bed .I tow a 35 ft fifth wheel and a 35 ft lightning .7.3 diesel

the overhang has not been a problem at all on mine. I just towed my boat back from cumberland last weekend at 70 mph with ease . I only get 10 mpg but that is all I can get with my 2005 sd diesel . this also has a 16k lbs fifth wheel and 20k lbs goose neck hitch along with the 12k lbs tag hitch. factory 60 gallon fuel tank .its a win win .

Cool looking setup! I bet it actually rides pretty well, better than a dually. The only issue I take with vans is the sitting position. To me, it feels like I'm driving a UPS truck, almost standing. I know I am exaggerating, but I'd rather be almost laid back. Heck, I'd put Lexus seats on the floor of my dually if I could see over the hood.

does anybody have something different that they tow with? not the normal tow unit .
