EOH Breakaway Battery?
I have been disconnecting it when not in use. I thought it was one of those old lantern style batteries but it is a rechargeable sealed gel cell. I guess I should have been charging it on a battery tender. It was dead so I have it on a 1 amp charger. If it doesn't come around has anybody replaced it? Doug

They are cheap. Mine is always dead. I just let it recharge when towing and hope to never need it right away

Thanks for the replacement options this one won't take a charge. This fall I'll have to remember to disconnect it and bring it inside. My barn where the boat stored isn't heated. Doug

I recommend one of the many models of float chargers. I have a charger for each of my "toys." I buy them at Ace Hardware for about $26. Cheaper than replacing a battery and I always know everything is ready when I want to use it. I'll get the model info if you are interested.

I called the local interstate battery dealer, they wanted almost 40 dollars for a battery. Grabbed the phone book, found a local hole in the wall guy, Bam 13 bucks out the door. The batterys look Identical, have the same numbers and markings as the one interstate offered
