Ford Raptor
I am considering purchasing one and I'm just looking for and input on them from anyone who owns one, has owned one or has any first hand knowledge on them. Thanks in advance

friend of mine has one... thursty as a boat!!!!!!

Yeah, I figured that much but I don't drive a whole lot so not much of a factor for me. I only get 15 now so it won't be much of a drop for me. Thanks

A neighbor bought one and traded it before the first payment.....it wouldn't fit in his garage. They are wider than the standard F150 and he had 3 single car doors and he was aggravated that it was a slow crawl/ mirrors tucked in just to get it in/out of the garage.

Nice truck- the 6K tow rating wasn't enough for my boat is the only reason I didn't buy one.
I know it is not apples to apples because of the big rubber and lift on the Raptor but I love the 6.2L in my Platinum. |
I have worked on them since the early prototypes. Really nice truck. The seats and the ride are by far one of the best. The engineers did a fantastic job with the ride quality. The only major issue I know about was the frame bending behind the cab during heavy offroading. I believe that has been remedied. Shock replacement is expensive. Wish I could afford one.

Thanks for the comments, I didn't realize the towing capabilities were so low on them

Overpriced by a long shot imo.

Can't disagree with you but I haven't ran across any new Truck that isn't overpriced

Garbage and slow.
I have a 97 with long travel and will beat any street legal ford pup into the dirt. They use a stock size upper ball on the front......junk. Bigger rear travel than makes sense seeing as how the front has next to none in comparison. Interior is nice, and very well planned around the driver..... |
