electric trailer jack

Whats the scoop on these? The videos I`ve seen online they seem to move so slow. Reliability? I don`t really want to spend anymore than $150 on one...
Any input is appreciated ...

You won't get much for $150.

Had this one on my car trailer, worked pretty good.

had the atwood 3500 put one on my 382 trailer for 5 years with no issues .bought the second 1 for my top gun once again no issues .they are a little slow but it beats cranking .as said wire it into your trailer plug most trucks have the wire already run

I have that 1 on my trailer works great , huge tongue weight I had to put 5 bolts in it and it still tweaked the plate .

While it will work off the existing factory wire in a seven way socket, the factory wires tend to be too light guage to safely operate the tongue jack. Most jacks require 10 guage wire. Better to wire direct to battery or mount separate battery on trailer.

nope no problem on fact wireing .i think the center post on a 7 wire is 10 gauge from the fact .thats its intended use

I have an idea... Put those big muscles to work, be a man and jack the boat up old style :lolhit:

LOL but you`re right.

I had a friend who modified a top wind jack and just used a 1/2 inch rechageable drill in place of the crank. Worked slick, much faster and no wireing. This was on a old heavy 32 foot Stinger.

i put one on my cat trailer and run it off a lawn tractor battery,it works great,i have a 2 amp maintainer on the battery when it is parked in the shop.

I just bought one. I am having a buddy weld up a mount for my Myco this winter.

Check out Fulton's F2 series.
They are impressively smooth and easy to use, within your price range and does not need electricity!

That is not the case on all trucks. Its intended use is not to run high amp accessories. If you check the fuse box, many list it as trailer battery charge.

Sorry Brian, I called and canceled the order, GF said you need the exercise:lolhit:

Come to think of it, I'ld really like to add one myself. Sometimes, it feels like a heart attack cranking that thing off after a day at the lake!

Maybe she is tired of operating the jack for Sydwayz? :)

Those are great! I put one on my Boatmate trailer that carried a 24' Supra wakeboat. Before the upgrade you couldn't move the boat by yourself. It weighed around 5500# loaded. After the F2 install I could push it around my shop. The leg is adjustable too, so you can set it about 2-3 turns from touchdown and have full length to lift.

i have one still in the box that i won on a poker run a few yrs. back. it is the same one that came on my skater trailer. it has been sitting in my boat storage collecting dust since. if you're interested in it, let me know. i'll get over there this weekend and snap a pic of it still in the box etc...

i had delusions of grandeur that i would actually use it one day. it's been 3 or so yrs. LOL.
