anyone take caliper off a 86 chevy dually
 

front brake caliper on 86 chevy dually. looks like the bracket is one peice with the spindle? how does the caliper come off?

It's hard to explain. There are these small pieces of metal that need to be hammered out that lock the caliper onto the spindle. Here are some pics of when I lowered mine, maybe it will help you see how it mounts to the spindle.
