Anyone have any thoughts? Looks like a really nice unit and thinking about pulling the trigger on one.

A lot of my buddies have them and love them.

I was all stoked up about making my new truck remote on as many functions as I could back in 04. This power Retrax was impressive to me and I was ready to put it on my truck when my trusty and very experienced accessories dealer cautioned me that they had a lot of failures on the power part.

I didn't like what I heard but I heeded his words and went with the Roll-N-Lock. They had a Retrax power model on the floor that day that was broke and two more claims. To this day I have put a Roll-N-Locl on every truck I had till my dually that got an ARE cap.

Things may have changed since several years ago but check into the failure record and customer reviews to make sure you get what you want.
