Triple 3500 lb trailer to Dual 6000 lb

My boat trailer has been deteriorating over the last few years. I think father time and lack of knowledgeable maintenance is
catching up. The first 5 years I had the boat and trailer I never had an issue. I would put 200 miles every weekend
on it with just routine greasing of the bearings. Fast forward another 8 years and now I lose a bearing or 2/year, 1 tire/year and they wear on the inner and outer sides of the tires. The tires look like they aren't in line while running down the road. I attribute some of this failure due to the angle I have putting my boat into my shop. It is quite an abrupt angle.

I was thinking of converting the trailer to a dual 6000lb axle trailer instead of the triple 3500lb axle.
Or could I just unshackle the 3500lb axles and put in triple 4500lb or 5200lb axles? This is probably going to be a project for this winter.

Any ideas would help.

Thanks

I was in your position a few yrs back.I have a very tight turn backing into my shop. I ended up going with tandem 5200lb six bolt axles rather than triple 3500s that most dealers have in stock. A tandem will out turn a triple all day long.
