Sounds like a good guess on the price with every option on the F-450 Platinum Edition DRW 4x4 , A SRW F-350 I would guess to be 10K less.

My 06 King Ranch was a nice truck & wouldn't have a problem with another super duty but the dealer here is a douche. That's why a certified ford mechanic owns all chevys now. Randy

I will always take my Fords, just better trucks all around,I have had 4 SD Fords with well over 300,000 miles, don't see Chevy and Dodge doig that too often.... SD Ford is just a btter truck, even taking engines out of the equation.... beefier parts and better interiors overall.... mine has 391,000 still smooth and quiet down highway!!

@ Fixxx Not sure how you got those numbers, maybe the models? But I just priced a Dodge and Ford 3500 series comparable on the top Models and the Ford was much cheaper, at least in Canada. Even getting the Ford in the Platinum package with every option, I couldn't get it to the Long Horn base price and when I'm done I expect the Dodge to be north of 90k.....

I've been holding out to buy a new truck til this thing came out. Its cool that they ended up putting the GT3788 on it, which happens to be the "powermax" everyone puts on the 6.0l in the aftermarket. Should wake it up as if it needs any more power.

All of the big 3 HDs are really bad@$$ for 2014. Preferences aside, can't go wrong with any one of them. Kudos to the American truck mfgrs for building such awesome trucks. Even Nissan is releasing a Cummins powered Titan.
