The pre-99.5 trucks are worth a little less. So I'd say you're closer to 11-12K

Sold my 2000 crew cab dually lariat 4x4 6 speed in April for over 15. Guy flew out from Texas and drove it home. It had been a northern car for the first 75k miles. I then bought it and didn't tow much with it since it was basically a DD. Had a few small problems like leaky fuel bowl, etc..... Definitely had some rust underneath. Had a 5th when brake controller and a couple gauges with some banks stuff on it.

Had 13x,000 on it when I sold it

I would have loved to have just kept my 04 F350 but the 6.0 broke a valve and piston. I needed a truck to tow my 8000lb work trailer. I went to Alabama and it shows like new.

I am going to list my 00 psd soon. I was thinking now is probably going to be the peak value of 7.3's. Until recently, the reputation of 6.0 and early 6.4's have kept 7.3 values high, but in the coming years, late model Sd's, especially those with 6.7's are going to start coming onto the used market and compete with really clean 7.3's. Maybe not dollar for dollar competition, but a buyer may wish to spend 35K on a 6.7 compared to 20K for a super clean low mileage 7.3L.

I stumbled upon this small dealer yesterday in VA. They have several 7.3L PSD trucks; and one Excursion with a Cummins in it. The Cummins had a drip spot of oil under it.

There is another small dealer in VA that always has 7.3L PSDs too, but I have not been past it in years.

is it Ohio clean or Texas clean? makes a big difference, people say no rust but soon as you look under it there is rust, or hidden/repaired rust, to me clean is TEXAS SPOTLESS clean, as in ZERO rust ever anywhere

a 7.3 will do well if its spotless, the 99-01 trucks less desired then the 02-03 they had nicer interiors and options...

I say if its spotless 12-15,000 in Ohio all depends on color and condition, mods done and such...

I just sold my spotless 2002 TEXAS truck was here 3 years and still spotless.... got 9800.00 for it with 392,000 miles.... to Ohio people clean is everything, at least to me...
