The big question is WHAT you are towing with 2wd?

Right now, a 23' Stingray.... By the end of summer, hopefully a Sunsation Aggressor, Rocket, or comparable 24/7 with a Big Block. Beyond that, I'll be looking at a new (to me) Super Duty or Duramax.

You should be ok with 2wd with a 24/7 boat. I only used my 4wd a few times on the slick ramps back in MI when the water level was low with my 24/7. I bet I could have made it up the ramps in 2wd with my foot to the floor but when it started spinning I just put it in 4wd and drove out no problem instead of putting on a burnout show. I thought I would have a bigger problem down south here when the tide is low and more slick green slime but I have never had to put the truck in 4wd down here. Maybe fresh water slime is slicker than salt water slime?? oh no I think I just started a winter slime thread!!
