DRW vs. SRW (squared)
offshoreexcursion,
Whatsayyou on this one? :lolhit: PSI of traction footprint on 8 tires with 2 motors vs. same with 6 tires with 1 motor (I just confused myself.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTNHIIRjIpw |
LMAO! That's hilarious!
Not fair that's a double whammy way to kick a guy while he's down. First bash my SRW theory then bash my favorite brand and truck engine! I know its all in good fun though. Thanks for sharing. |
We still prefer our SRW rigs. Just picked up our 2013 Cummins Ram and a new Low Pro Trailer. This is our 5th out of 6 that is SRW not DRW. I do respect and like DRW trucks. SRW, especially when properly equipped (like a Super Single Semi), can tow just as good. Now a DRW will shine while hauling payload like a dump bed, load of block, or slide in truck camper.
Not trying to debate this again, just showing that we are still having success with our SRW trucks. Over 1 million accident free miles, with a perfectly clean DOT record. Funny video though! http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/...pscb33ebf8.jpg |
I know Kevin, just kidding. Most of those tug-of-war battles/videos are all about height of your chain point, and fractions of an inch matter.
Nice setup! |
No wonder the middle truck is smoking tires. The lead trucks chain is lifting the middle truck up do to the angle.

I wonder if one of them was this guy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04GlKHG9T_E Dude would hate me. My mirrors out out on my Ford and my Dodge, all the time. Hell, I might put a set on my Buick! |
He got a point!!
|
I can only imagine his opinion on fog lights!!! :lolhit:
