Default Best place to buy trailer axles?

Looking to see where people are getting their trailer axles.
I have 3-3500lb axles on my trailer and looking to go to 2-6000lb torsion axles.
Ebay custom order and drop shipped to my shop??

Thanks

My 6000lb torsion axles, new rims and tires arrived Monday. Big difference from my 3500lb. Can't wait for the weather to break so I can tear off the original setup and get these on. These are 6000lb Torflex straight from Dexter. Breaks and drums should be here by Friday.

I'll add pics of the makeover as I make progress.

I still can't get over the sheer mass of these 6000lb axles. I have everything minus fenders, the dexter brakes and bearings arrived 2 days ahead of schedule.

So the fun begins. My brother and I started disassembly of the trailer.

Rolling triple assembly removed.

It is pretty much wasted. I'm glad it only goes a couple miles to the launch.

Everything is now clamped on and I need to double check my axle spacing for going from a triple to a tandem. All suggestions welcomed.

I was going to use the center spindle of the triple axle carriage as the center mark between my tandem spindles. It makes logical sense to me.

Nice work so far.
How much of the boat is aft of the main trailer support beams when loaded on the trailer? You might take this opportunity to move the boat forward as it looks like you have the room.
I know this complicates things, but this would be much better for your hull to be supported by aluminum instead of just that aft 3' section of wood.

Also, I would take the time to add a pair of front V-bunks from the carpeted cross-member, to the cross member at the start of your large bunks. This will help you load much better.
You can buy all the supports for the 2x6 V-bunks from www.championtrailerparts.com

Last, you really can't mount your fenders until you have the boat back on. I think you are going to sit a shade lower with the new axles. And, those torsion axles rotate back a hair when loaded. You want the fenders centered over the axles when the boat is loaded, not when unloaded.

Solid info ^^

Looks like if you removed the spare tire (or used the same mount, just flip it over so the tire is underneath the trailer) you could move the winch stand forward, and then adding the front V bunks would help get the stern actually on the trailer not just the main bunks like Brian was saying.
