Whos towing larger boat with Lifted Truck???

Picking up 2014 Super Duty and debating on lifting. Anyone have any input? Looking at doing a 6 inch or 22/37s. Pulling a 39 ft offshore.

Im pulling a 38 top gun with my 05 350 powerstroke. 8"lift on 37" ssr's. Tows like a dream. Made two trips to the ozarks problem free and there's not a flat stretch of road the whole way. 4.10 gears btw

Key to it is good tires and shocks. One of my trucks stays hooked to a 38 donzi zx. 6" lift with 35's that were cheap and it sways. My old truck with toyos was fine all the way to 80

I used to own a 2006 Ford F-350 SRW crew Harley that I lifted 10 inches and had 40s on 20s then 38s on 22s. The truck rode and handled better than stock. Towed my old 36 outlaw perfect, however I did have to have a custom drop hitch made because I could not find a class V hitch with enough drop. I also upgraded the brakes, but more for overall driving than towing.

The highway shift points changed a little, even with the programmer compensating for the gear ratio change caused by the tires. The truck lost its ability to stay in top gear on slight grades. Wasn't a huge concern because I rarely left town with the boat.

Pulling a 36 Sunsation with a 2500HD lifted 6" on 35" Toyos. Just pulled an 1100 mile round trip to Lake Cumberland with no issues. The only thing is the turning radius is slightly compromised with the lift - at least it is on my truck.

Sadly almost all of my pics from that time period, due to a crashed computer and an improper back up.
