Truck Dilemma

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I can swap the pickup bed on my '92 K1500 Reg. cab, Chevy Z71 short bed with the bed from a comparable year that has an extended cab? No one seems to know!!!:whistle:

Measure from the back of the cab to the center of the rear wheel opening. If the same it should work I would think, or go to a Chevy truck forum..

I don't think its the same but measure. Also depends on the frame mounts etc. The extended cabs were built at only 1 plant then- Oshawa.
