Just picked my new tow vehicle. 2015 Ford f-250 6.7 powerstroke diesel. 860foot pounds of torque. Love it!

Nice, even though it is a FORD

F-2 Speedy 11-19-2014 12:29 PM

Congrats, that 6.7 is a beast

Rattlesnake Jake 11-19-2014 12:40 PM

Nice ford but I gotta ask, do you own anything with a "HEMI"??

Congrats Nice Truck...but as a Tow Vehicle isn't it 2 wheels short?

Ha, Ha, just kidding!

Cheers,

Dave

I did years ago, had a 1969 Charger with Hemi motor. Who knew back then, that that car with that motor would pull the type of money it does today.

I have a 7.3. Love my Ford Superduty. The 6.0s were junk, and the 6.4s not much better. I hope they got the 6.7 right so I can buy your truck in 7-8 years. Nice Ride!

Like my 6.4. Supposedly the bottom ends are more stout than the 6.7's.

As long as your deleted I don't see any concerns on the 6.4. That being said the original batteries in my 7.3 lasted 12 years including 7 New Hampshire winters and my 6.4 batteries **** the bed on me Monday night. That was an aggitation

ROB FREEMAN 11-19-2014 06:51 PM

yes i agree the 6.4 must be deleted . the regens kill that motor . the motor that actually makes oil .

ChrisK 11-19-2014 07:52 PM

Traded a 7.3 dually for a new ram cummins about a year ago... the new motors are beasts...

Congrats...from a duramax owner. The 3/4 ton and 1 ton markets are well served by the big 3- wonder how long Toybota is going to wait to enter that market.....

Wannabe

Cold doesn't damage batteries, heat does. You won't actually see the failure until the temperature drops and there is more demand put on the batteries.

I agree with eveything you said on the 6.4. If you are willing to delete they are the best bargain out there for a used diesel.
