anybody know how or how much? guy over there redoing an old pantera needs a small block and they are few and far between his side of the water...

Going to have to build a FULL crate for it, and bolt it in somehow. I would try to get him to setup all the shipping details and then you would most likely have to take the crated engine to a shipping depot to get taken to the shipping port and onto a boat.

If the deal goes through, an easier start is to find a pallet already built, and use that and cut it in down to a smaller size if needed.

After you get it bolted to the pallet, wrap it in the clear plastic wrap you can buy at Lowes/Home Depot ratchet strap it down and then build the top part of the crate with 2x4's. Staple some cardboard around it to kinda close it in so to speak.
