Insurance for F650
 

Just found out that I cannot insure a F650 under my present personal lines automobile insurance with GEICO. Those that have insurance on such vehicle any recommendations of where to apply and how much do you pay?

mine is with statefarm its under 400 for 6 months then I put in storage so its real cheap listed as a personal vehicle, they also insure the boat

Mine is through Progressive. Very reasonable.

are they accepting under personal vehicle? GEICO is telling me that because of the weight it has to be classified as a commercial vehicle.

That may depend on the state, in mass anything over 10k gvw has to be registered commercial, some instances you can register as a camper

MIne is Personal In OK we can. If Com then would need CDL and I don't want that.

I had mine insured with my 5 wheel with a rv policy. nationwide ins.

I had to insure my F-450 on a commercial policy due to the weight. Insurance agent claimed it was the same premium price, just a separate policy.
