EXTANG Tonneau Covers

Does anyone have experience (good and bad) with the EXTANG folding Tonneau covers?

I got one in 2011. Still works well and I have no complaints. Come to think of it I should do a good cleaning

I have the encore on my Denali. Looks great, seems well built, locks up tight. No complaints here at all.

I have an Extang Solid Fold that I bought in 2010 right after I bought my new truck. I've replaced every seal on the top and it still leaks at the joint on the rear section. Extang's response, "we do not guarantee our covers to be waterproof". Kinda defeats the purpose of the cover, does it not?!

Mine is the trifold. I did have a problem the day I unpackaged it. The cover was coming off the metal frame in about a 10 in area. I took a pix and cut out a small area w something like a serial number and sent it to them per their instructions. The sent me a new one w no other questions asked. So I still have it in a box in my barn the I am sure I could have repaired.

I have had two bakflips on my ram trucks and love them.

I've had an Extang Trifecta cover for about 9 or 10 years. I've moved it from truck to truck several times, and about 1/2 it's life has been outdoors.

I don't have a single complaint about it.

I have the Extang Encore, purchased 2 months ago. Really like the idea of the solid tri-fold with locking access to the front of the bed using the factory key. When we need to use the entire bed it takes no tools for on and off and now you have 100% access. Other covers folded against the cab and you still lose up to a foot of the bed depending on brand. Its not bulletproof like a bank vault, but sturdy enough to support some weight like snow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRF7...layer_embedded

I have the soft roll up, works great. Have had them on 3 trucks, would put the same on the next truck. The soft roll ups with velcro are nice, real fast to take off and on.

Have a tri-fold and it works great. Very easy to remove completely if I need to haul something large and tall.

I have the Backflip on my truck as well. Love it

I have the soft roll up with a c channel on the rails. Owned it about a year and I like it a ton. Outta the box so e rails were mislabeled and customer service was exceptional.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the input. I pulled the trigger on a new Denali 2500 HD yesterday and trying to decide on the bed cover. I had a color matched ARE fiberglass tonneau on my Silverado but had several times that I needed to haul something tall and couldn't remove the cover.
