spare tire holder

I would like to put my two spare tires on each side of the front V of my trailer, is there any nice bolt on holders that you guys have used

There are a few there, but the cat's ass would be having two spindles with new full hubs mounted and ready to go. My last trailer had that, but my current Myco does not. Myco just welds up their own with a plate and a few studs. I'm going to have a second one made, for other side of my trailer (someday).

Advantage: two extra guides to get the nose of the boat where it needs to go AND they roll if needed for less marks on boat should you actually come into contact with them.
Disadvantage: you can't stand on the tire when it's on a spindle that rotates; should you need to access bow or anything up that way.

Syd: Your suggestions are usually beefy, but that one looks pretty flimsy for the heavy spare tires on our boat trailers.

Has anyone tried it yet?

Ha, that's why I'm having one welded up locally. My welder buddy builds race cars and crash trucks for a living.

I bought a nice galvanized holder 2 years ago online. I can't remember where I bought it from but it is a lot sturdy than those. Let me see if I can find the paper work on it.

I think Loadmaster will sell components like above.
I know they will sell their adjustable Bow Stop / V-bunk / Winch stand.

I know that most everyone mounts the tire to the trailer. However, I chose to just simply put the spare in the back of my truck and not have all this "stuff" hanging on a trailer. It really isn't much of an issue and besides it forces me into checking the pressure each time we trailer the boat.

just my 2cents
