Which EOH refit kit ?
I have a 98 Myco twin axle under the Fountain and with all the road trips of late, The drum surge brakes are getting kinda thin. So if I need to do a brake job anyway which I just buy the whole brake assemblies and bolt them on and call it done. I was thinking of doing a EOH overhaul. But I would like to know which EOH system has proved to be the best. I have Hopkins EOH on both of my heavy equipment trailers but I don't dunk them in water at the boat ramp. So if you have done a EOH conversion I would like to hear from you.

I have a dexter, they all work, convert to disc and buy it all complete.backing plates ,calipers, rotors . You will not believe the difference. Make sure the EOH activator is for disc.

Titan system w kodiak brakes.

I've got the Titan with factory Myco disk brakes. Once you go EOH, you will never go back.

I got in touch with Myco today Thanks That is exactly what Mr. Jones at Myco said they use the BrakeRite II SD
Not that big a deal But I am trying not to have to get a separate controller when the truck already has one in the dash. Also trying to make up my mind is the disk brake conversion worth it. Its not the task of replacing them. Is the cost justified. Or just add two more drum assemblies. The rear axle has the bolt pattern, Just not the brake assy. |
I would def add a second set of brakes,. I have surge and added a second set of brakes (all stainless kodiak because I am in salt and they seem to be only thing that isn't crap in salt). Anyhow, I couldn't believe how nice it was with the second set added.

You guys got my wheels spinning now.. I might have to add this to my project list. Now to find a stream line pump that will look "ok" or not to far out of place on top of my tongue .
