Hummer H2
Anyone have an H2 Hummer? How do you like it? Its not for towing, I already have Dodge with a Cummins so I'm set there. Anyone have one for sale?

I had a H2 SUT - 2005. I loved it. I sold it after putting 162,000 miles on it. The ride was fantastic, very comfortable. It draws a lot of attention. Great ride in town and on the highway. I towed my 21' bay boat all the time. It did good but I wouldn't have attempted to haul anything larger. Fuel mileage wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but you don't buy a Hummer to worry about fuel mileage.
Some negatives:
I wrecked mine and bad to replace a door. It took a while to find one. Body parts seem to be getting fewer since they stopped production.
All in all, I loved mine and wished they would have kept building them. I would be driving another one if they had.

I drove one of the first ones in my county (drove it home from the dealership for my aunt who paid 20K over sticker to get one). She subsequently bought one of the first all red ones available and paid over sticker for that one too!
It is built on a Tahoe platform and they stuffed the 6.0 gas motor in it (making it thirsty and not very fast). I never liked the trannys in them, push the pedal to the floor and it drops two gears yet the speedo isn't moving very much despite all the noise going on!
My "offroad fail".......saw the "driving up the mountain commericals" so I figured lets try something. 4 ft sand pile on a construction site, figured lets climb it.....truck simply pushed into it and there was no climbing even trying to hit it at an angle. Truck simply did nothing as if I was trying to "powerbrake it"

60k is good, but not near the lowest. Good amount of units out there under 30k miles. My neighbor has an SUT Limited Marine with 20k on the clock.
