This is true, I average 14 in mixed driving.(city/HWY) I do not baby the throttle however. Towing the boat = 10.5 to 11, depending on the terrain.

BLASPHEMY! Diesel ALWAYS = 29 MPG unloaded, 22 MPG pulling a 42 Ft boat uphill into the wind!

If it is chipped, tuned and has big tires then 33 MPG!

Dont have a dog in the fight but I read that this was totally taken care of and actually almost impenatrable now.

..or something in the middle?? 2016 Titan XD with 310 HP with 555 lb-ft of torque Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel..

I'm thinking this just might be decent enough to replace my 2006 avalanche 2500 and still be able to pull the 33 AT without jumping into a full 3/4 ton since I tow only a few times a year.

I have not seen one of these nor have I ever owned any Nissans, but seems like a decent in between option. If (big if) the price is right...just saying...

Anyone else noticed these coming out? New 5.0 V-8 Cummins Diesel?

Sorry not trying to change the truck brand of topic.

That may be true for the latest iteration of the Tundra, I don't know as I haven't been under one to see. I can tell you without a doubt the 08 I was referencing will indeed be rotted out soon. If the 15's are using the same frame I don't see how much could be different. The silver lining though is that Toyota seems to step up to the plate with these trucks and does a good job of taking care of the owners, though there is plenty of red tape and time lost getting the truck repaired.

Just go buy the damn Denali and get it over with. You know you want it. And your wife will likely want it for her DD so you can have the "hybrid".
