I hear ya on that.

My noisey oil leaking 7.3 is a big reason I don't sell mine. I really like and enjoy it, it gets the work down, and it is a fun truck to drive.

I keep saying I want a new Dodge 2500 but I can't see me letting go of the old Excursion.

Why not? If you can make killing on it dump the mother. I like $$$ more than loyalty to a vehicle

Just enjoy driving it a lot. Have had a lot of vehicles and this is one I like and enjoy. I would make a few bucks off it but nothing crazy and would still have to come out of pocket to buy a newer diesel.

Just rather keep what I got and like then spend a bunch to get one I might like, hopefully.

That is also true and I agree, but I miss driving older stuff that doesn't cost so much and easy to maintain, and cheaper to hot rod it.

Welp, Ford truck already broke down. I guess that's what I get for buying it and actually TRYING to drive it down the road. Thing crapped out on me and wouldn't start, hope it's something simple.

I put my money on the cam sensor craping out.

I carry a spare in my old truck,,,,,,,,,,,, and mine is a OLD 7.3

I always carried an extra 7.3 cam sensor and tools for quick change, only needed it once, but it sure was nice and quick to do.

I just picked up a 2016 3500 SRW High Country and love it, came out of a 2008 SRW ext cab. I have a buddy that is a very aggressive and owns a Chevy store. Let me know if you want him to look it over.

Not a fan of the new Chevy's but that does look good and the cell charger is pretty damn sweet!
