Trying to decide on daily beater/boat puller....
Both will pull my boat no problem (4300 on trailer). Truck would be a little more versatile, while the navi would be a bit more cush (I drive about 20~30 miles a year for work). I want something that walks the line between new and dependable vs Throwing money away driving it into the ground....

I would guess you can write off some of your mileage for work. I do 30k+ a year for work. I would go with Navi or which ever is more comfortable. You don't need much to pull the Avanti and will spend more time commuting.
Another way to look at it. What kinda women you got in your area. Are they truck Chicks. Most like cush. I'm 49 not 29 but not dead! I'm fixin to do something stupid an buy a C6 vette as my DD. Keep us posted Rob. |
Between the two, I'd have to go for the truck due to lower mileage and leaf springs. I'm only assuming the Navi has air ride. I put over 20k on my Silverado last year, it's not that bad doing that kind of mileage in a truck.

I'd go with the F-150 as well.
If you want to "plush it out"; look into a set of leather seat skins from http://katzkin.com/ or other. |

I can tell you we have had some major rust issues on the 2004-2006 F-150s we have owned in our companies. We had two rust through their frames, two with bed and fuel tank rust issues, and two with engine & trans issues. Everything started after warranty. Not happy at all with them right now.
