Which airbags?
There are a whole lot of airbag systems out there and I just don't know enough about them to make a intelligent decision. I will be installing them on a 08 F350. For the most part it is my daily driver. But it is the truck I use to tow the boat. After installing a leveling kit on the frontend I am worried that the trailer weight will drop the a$$end to much. What has been working or not working for you? Thanks Mark

Kelderman offers 2 different options for the rear
Firestone R4TECH http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index....ducts_id=16756 Firestone Ride Rite (put over 600,000 trouble free miles on them) Air lift Lots of others |
firestone
and when not towing leave a few lbs in them so they don't pinch have them on 2 tow vehicles for yrs and no problems |
Bought some airlift bags 2 years ago from sd trucks. Seemed at the time to be the best deal on the Internet. Certain times you buy, airlift offers rebates. As stated above keep a few lbs in them at all times.

Have used Firestone with the in cab gauge and fill option, worked flawlessly.

Firestone and Air Lift are made in the same factory. (Firestone's)
I have run both with no issues whatsoever. I've had them on 5 different trucks. If you are installing an air system, make sure you visit www.hornblasters.com It's the best $800 I've spent on a tow vehicle. |

Funny you said that I was thinking I could tie the airbags into my horn compressor.
http://www.truckspring.com/products/...5lxxoCilLw_wcB You have to run air lines into the cab of your truck, but that's really not a big deal. There are also wireless kits as well, they are not really 'add-on' kits, plus you have to run power and ground; and they are expensive. http://www.4wheelparts.com/parts/fir...ntrollers.aspx |
