Can a 2009 Escalade pull a 1999 36ft Baja SST?

I have looked and my towing capacity is 8300lb and the boat is 8300lb, however I know that doesn't include gear or gas or trailer, I won't tow over 70 miles at a time and usually less then 10 miles.

It will pull it, but will it stop it when a soccer mom pulls out in front of you distracted by her screaming kids in the back seat?? And then when your insurance company laughs at you as the family of the deceased sue you for millions...

It has the 2500 frame and brakes, also I have trailer brakes.

I used to have an Escalade and I wouldn't want to tow that weight very far. Maybe a couple miles or so but not 70. It Def has the power to pull it but thats a lot of weight.

its 12,600 lbs on the trailer......I wouldnt !!!

Even my 2500 with a 6.0 gas struggled.

No

The Escalade is not built on a 2500 chassis. It has the 6.2l gas engine, but coil suspension in rear. This is not the truck to pull that size boat.
