I was going to go 4" with 37s but didn't want the truck too tall to be usable... Half of me wishes I did though...

Looking at bumpers next, and white painted grille... I don't like chrome....

Anyone looking at a Ford needs to be sure they get the tailgate step.... And you can't add it to a truck that doesn't have it as the tailgate is different...

The tires are Nitto Ridge Grapplers... 12 ply... I think they call them F rated.... They don't seem to roll over on the corners so they may do well with a big trailer... I'll have one of our MTI-V 42s behind it in the near future and left you guys know how it does with 21,000lbs on it...
Now that's a nice truck!!!

Sigh...but with prices the way they are with trucks I'm keeping my '08 10 cylinder F250. It's in great shape and just sent it in to the body shop for $3000 worth of touch-ups to keep it in pristine shape. Has the white grill/sport package, 20"s polished mags, looks sweet. $3000 every few years to keep it nice is worth it considering new prices...and I can eventually put that into a BOAT.

Nice trucks fellas!!

How are you guys seeing insurance on the new Super Dutys compared to the 11-16 models? I was a bit shocked going from my 13 F-150 to 16 F-150 when the insurance nearly doubled for a truck with the same sticker.

You'd be surprised what these newer trucks will do...
Heres the '14 F350 with our MTI-V 57... 35,000lbs, 5500lb tongue weight... 80lbs of air in the bags...
No highway towing one real hills... Just from our Miami shop to Haulover Ramp... 30 mph...

Don't let Sideways Brian see this pic or he will soil himself....

I just want to see it actually pull the wheelie that it's trying to do sitting still. Next time go with 120 lbs. in the bags. I bet that will teeter it right up.

Did you have one from the previous generation to compare with?

I am leaning toward ordering a 2018 F350 SRW SuperDuty (at the moment). I haven't gotten off my ass yet to sell my 2000 F350 and 2003 2500HD though.
The details about the 2018 F150 have been released, and they now show this "Marsala" color interior option on the Platinum trim:

I would assume that this will also be on the 2018 SuperDuty Platinum option list as well.

Personally...
I'm just not a huge fan of the King Ranch logo/styling, but if I was buying a 2017 it would likely be a King Ranch.
I don't like an all black interior.
And the 2017 Platinum in "Brunello" interior was really dark, and overall wasn't a good hue either, especially in sunlight. (Pictured below) I wanted to like it, but it's just too dark on the interior of the truck; might as well be black. Hence why I was leaning KR if I jumped on a 2017.

Just my thoughts and observations.

You used to be able to order a DRW, crew cab short bed, can you still get one?
