Trailer adjustment...

So last year boat a trailer for my 311 formula. Bought it used, but it was basiclly a brand new trailer from heritage. Trailer was built for a 32 ft chaparral. The 311 fits ok on the trailer but not perfect. Problem is bunks are non adjustable. So short of cutting and rewelding all the bunks is there maybe a way to adjust or move bunks around? I can cut the boards to make it fit perfect but some bunks are too low to hit the bottom of the boat. Could I just put another 2x6 in like a 1 ft section under the bunk too raise it up the bunk to contact the bottom?

You can do that. You want support in multiple areas.

Any other ideas I maybe have not thought about?

Trace the lines with cardboard and make new wood bunks.

i'd get a reputable boat trailer place togive you a price on moving/setting up the bunks. If you get it wrong the boat will suffer
