Bow Stop Question
Do they make a white bow stop or one that doesn't leave marks on the hull? Mine are the D shaped stops.

Got mine from Myco , grey .
|
I am wondering this as well. My Manning just has two carpeted 6x6 wood blocks. I would rather have the nice non-marking rubber blocks.
|
I would stick with white carpet,,I have the Grey D style stops and they kind of suck,,once your bow makes contact with the stops you can not winch the boat up any more because it wont let is slide at all,,and it still marks the boat,,not as bad as the black stops but it does leave some marks.

I put buffing bonnets on current boat trailer V block. Previous boat, wifey would spray down the (Myco) grey rubber D blocks with Quick Detailer, prior to loading the boat. That worked well.
I'm trying the bonnets this year, although we'll probably forget and leave them on in the parking lot, and somebody will snatch them up! |
I dont use the V block leave it back about 6 in tie it down and go, Jimmy D, those U bolts look small

Jim,
Before you retrieve the boat, spray the V-block down with this: http://www.liquidperformancedirect.c...uct-p/0140.htm http://cdn3.volusion.com/xfsvl.pdzuv...jpg?1442411036 I suppose any spray wax would work, but I've been using that forever. You coat the V-bunk stop with spray wax, and it acts as a lubricant. Any residue that is left on the boat is just wax, and wipes right off with a microfiber towel. |

3M clear stone guard. Works great where you hang fender rope above the rub rail

What diameter buffing bonnets work best on the Myco rubber blocks? Thanks!
|
I can't recall, but the bigger the better. I need to get some bigger ones for my myco.
