There are a lot of them out there, but you want to use an NLGI grade 2 lithium complex grease.

Personally, I use Kendall L-427, Super Blu.

Some other comparable choices:

- Conoco / Phillips - Multiplex RED #2
- Citgo - Lithoplex MP #2, Lithoplex CM #2
- Exxon/Mobil - Ronex MP, Mobilith AW2, Mobil I Synthetic Grease
- Pennzoil / Quaker State - Synthetic Red Grease
- Shell - Rotella Heavy Duty Lithium Complex #2
- Chevron / Texaco - Chevron Ulti-Plex Grease EP #2, Texaco Starplex Moly MPGM #2
- Valvoline - Multipurpose GM, Valvoline Durablend

And do yourself a favor, get one of these if you don't have one.

That is a slick little tool. Almost makes me want to resume packing my own wheel be rings. LOL I have been lazy the last few years and have hired it done.

Yeah, it sure is. Makes a huge difference. I just rebuilt my trailer and had to pack 12 bearings. The bearing packer and a 20V Dewalt grease gun made it a LOT easier.

You are going to get many responses on recommendations. Just use a quality grease and repack often.

I have been using evinrude grease for the last 5 years with no failures. https://www.amazon.com/Johnson-Evinr.../dp/B00KY540WA

Whatever grease you decide to run, just make sure you don't mix grease's.

I also have the wheel bearing packer above. I bought it at harbor freight. I want to say it was $10-15.

For the money I like the Schaeffer's Aluminum complex moly ultra. Anything lithium based can "wash out" because the base thickener is soap.

Interesting. I got my grease recommendations from Myco, so that's what I've been following but what you said makes sense too. I'm going to ask them about that...

Perfect timing for this as I pulled a seal to grease and had milkshake in a hub. Gotta do atleast one at this point. Thanks for the above info!
