i just got a 2015 Denali HD. It's got stock 20's and stock tires. I want to run 35" Nittos but I'm not sure how to set it up... will they fit without doing anything? Do I need a leveling kit? Lift kit? I would love to know how you have set up yours and any pictures.

You will likely need a leveling kit at minimum. Just the way the inner fenders are bumper are placed, you will need to do some adjustments. There is a kit out there that spaces the front bumper out a bit for clearance. Are you still planning to tow with it? What gear ratio do you have? I'd be concerned about loosing low end grunt when towing if you have anything less than 4:10s; and I think 3.73 is all that's available on the SRW HDs of recent. Yeah I still plan on towing with it from time to time. My last truck was a 2011 Chevy 2500HD and it had 35" and towed great. Of coarse I bought it that way and I'm not sure how it was set up. I've never started from scratch. I really have no idea on what gears it has, I'm assuming that it's stock as the truck only have 22000 miles and looks pretty unmolested.

With stock wheels it will be very tight but will work with minor trimming. I would recommend the Cognito leveling kit with new upper a-arm for better clearance and to gain the height you'll need without loosing ride quality.

I'm new to this so bear with me... I see it says that I need 6" back spacing with that kit. does that mean that my stock rims will poke out 6" beyond what they currently are? I'm not a big fan of that look, I really just want to keep everything looking as stoke as possible just bigger tires.

Im running 295 65r/20 Toyo Open Country. With a leveling kit in the front

They measure 33.5" and and I have a slight frame rub at Full lock left. Im not sure what Toyo claims on the size, but tape measure says 33.5". Tire width at the tread shoulder is right at 10". No trimming, 100% stock.

If you go any bigger you are going to need a lift kit.

Go to the Duramax forum and you will get to see every combination you can imagine before you buy.

If it's a duramax truck, it has the 3.73 gears. That's the only available factory gearing on the diesel.

Flightplan, yours looks great. What leveling kit did you use? I may just copy your set up, 35's might be too much trouble. I'm in construction so I have to get in and out the bed all the time so I don't want to lift it...

First pic is leveled with Suspension Maxx leveling kit with bilstein shock. Tires are 295 toyo.
no rubbing with those Gear wheels with +18mm offset. Actually have leveling kit, shocks and wheels for sale. PM if interested.
Second pic is a CST 3-6 lift kit turned down to 3-4" with same tires but running a 1mm offset on the fuel wheels. No rubbing there.
