Bow Blocks
Myco wants $52ea + shipping for their bow blocks. What are they and why are they so expensive?
|
I've looked everywhere for them - closest I found was loading dock door bumpers (think semi-trucks) which were cut down to the correct length. But I haven't found any locally to judge if they are the same or not.

Manning is now using them. I believe they will sell them to you as well.

Why are they so expensive? Because they know $104 is short money in this hobby.

I don't have any pics handy, but I bought a couple of (8" I think?) terry buffing bonnets - the ones with elastic around the perimeter. I placed them over the D blocks to prevent scuff / black marks. Wifey squirts em down with Quick Detailer before I pull boat on the trailer. So that spot always gets a little wax.
Mine are blue (go figure!) |
