While the mirrors are not my favorite part on the Ram, they are far and away better than the offering on the new Fords. I will take function over form every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. if you guys could shoot me your email addresses, that would be great! I need to know where to forward my payment invoices. |

In what position are they better than the Fords? I always figured everyone leaves them up or out because in that mode they are at least similar to the Fords.
The up-to-2016 Ford mirrors were great. But the 2017+ mirrors are noticeably smaller. The high end trucks with the cameras and blind spot detection make up for that. But not all of the Fords benefit from such. I have zero complaints on the GM (bigger) mirrors. They are fantastic. |
I've never towed with dodge to say anything about the visibility with them up or down but I hate passing one on a narrow road when they have them up and sticking out 6 ft. I have a 16 350 and have never seen a need to extend the mirrors for the boat. Now Brian get that new ride set up and post some pics.
