DONE truck shopping...

I'm also looking for a new truck the only problem with Ram is the lack of horse power. The 3500 is only 385 where the Ford has 440 that's a huge difference. Currently I have a Ram 2500 megCab that has a tuner which is about as fast as a stock Ford.

While I may feel that I need more grunt, I have a dealer that is willing to work with me to change the axle gear ratios if I want, retain my warranty, and not have to tune/mod the engine/drivetrain which could hurt reliability.
Also, the Ram 3500 has more power than a Ram 2500 WHEN YOU HAVE THE AISIN transmission.
With the 68RFE transmission (which is all that's available in the 2500, speaking automatics), Ram detunes the Cummins 50HP and 100 lb/ft of Torque, because they know the 68RFE is 'softer' than an Aisin. The 3500 (which you can get with the Aisin or 68RFE) allows you the full power of the Cummins, without being detuned; ONLY if you pay for the AISIN upgrade.

I had a full Carli Commuter package on my 03 3500 Ram along with their steering stabilizer and free floating anti sway bar. Absolutely loved the setup. That was less a lift setup vs a leveling kit but still made the truck ride much smoother. Eventually I plan on doing their leveling kit for my 17 2500. As much as I like the look of a lifted truck, It would not be practical for me. I'm sure you will love the setup on your truck.
