Ready for Assembly!
Broward trailer fabrication and welding complete.
Entire trailer has been prepped & will receive a coat of Sharkhide Metal Protection.
Sharkhide is money well spent IMO, have applied to my past 2 trailers and they maintain that like new look even after being in saltwater.
About $150 in product, Broward is applying it for me.
PS- see skid channel in last pic that ties the forward crossmembers together.

Broward Trailer is complete & delivers tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing the finish product and the 700mi tow home.
Check out the before / after pics and the attention to detail Broward invested in smoothing out the welds on the taillight cross member.
Clearly Broward takes pride in their finished product and they are willing to go the extra mile.

700 miles Sunday will determine whether or not to this was a wise investment or not. Everything I’ve heard has been positive especially as it relates tto o the improved ride quality. Hope that is the case.

What hitch is that?
And I like everything about the trailer except how they did those safety chains. IMHO they should be attached with a clevis to a couple of loops or bars welded to the sides of the trailer. It appears to me they are allowing for some minute movement of the lower two main hitch attachment bolts. They shouldn’t be integrated into the hitch's attachment; rather should be anchored more securely. And they look to be just thin SS fender washers involved there instead of thicker grade 8 steel washers.

The Hitch is a GenY Torsion Hitch.
Ill reserve comment on the chains as I’ve not even seen the trailer.
At highway speeds I much rather have the tow vehicle & trailer separate from one another as opposed to being tossed around like a rag doll.

A few pics of the completed trailer.
She is a stout piece, tows straight as an arrow, no flex w/ incredible stopping power.
Bar none, this is the nicest trailer I've ever owned & or towed including trailers owned by others.
Cruise set at 75, light hands on the wheel vs the many trips I've made in the past where I've had to really be up on the wheel.
Made the 800mi trek north so much less stressful for the driver and the passengers.
Thank You Jim Nall, Mark Bonafide and all the folks at Broward Trailer.
Speaking from experience, you should be proud of the finished product you turn out.
