If you can find what you want on the lot I bet they will, There is a local dealer that has the exact truck we want except for the wrong gear ratio and color, that truck is $8k below msrp. I'm still waiting on a hard number quote from dealer on the truck I did a build out on, that truck had an msrp of $48k. The 2019's in this area have dropped $4500 in the last couple months so not sure how much more they will come down.

The 5.4L in my 2010 FX-4 was a slug too and the shifting sucked. Mike at 5-Star corrected all of that and really woke the engine up. I'm sure removing however much of the torque management wasn't doing the tranny any favors but I gladly traded one for the other. I dumped it at 80K miles just to avoid any transmission issues as it got older.

In our market dealers have 2 pricing strategies. They can price the truck conventionally knowing they will have to negotiate down at the time of the sale or they can adopt the new Market Value Pricing which cuts right down to the brass tacks with a no negotiation price. We do the same thing in the parts world but not with every line.

About to pull the trigger and order F350 srw 6.2 4.30 gear, Dealer says we can still order a 2019 and take advantage of rebates otherwise it would be a 2020 with no rebates and msrp increase. Thanks everyone for all the input!

Ended up ordering a 2019 F350 6.2 Crew Cab Long Bed 4.30 gear in the XL/STX trim. Couple things I wanted to note for anyone else curious about the gas superduty.
-Transmission is different in the gas F350 vs F250, The 3/4 ton uses a new "G" Tranny vs the 1 ton having a transmission similar to the diesel which is much stronger.
-I didn't go for the adaptive steering since it is fairly new and didn't want the complexity of that system.
-I did opt for the sync3 with the larger in dash infotainment system.
-I went for the ultimate tow camera setup as well not specifically for towing but I think it will aid my wife when she is parking it.
Still very anxious to see what numbers the 7.3 Godzilla V8 puts out but for now this truck should do everything I need it to. Sources are telling me that 2020's aren't going into production until as late as November now so who knows, time will tell.

FWIW, Ram does similar with the 2500 and 3500.
The 68RFE is the only transmission available in the 2500 with the Cummins.
The 68RFE and the AISIN are options for the 3500 with the Cummins.
But the 68RFE mated to the Cummins is therefore electronically hamstrung by 100HP & 100 Lb/ft, so it doesn't rupture the lesser transmission.
