I use the Rock Tamers when traveling and they do work, but they are ugly and a PIA to remove and store. I was searching the web a few days ago and came across this company. It looks like they have a lot of different options for full time flaps. I have not tried them and really do not know anything about them, but I thought I would share anyway.

The only way that anything mounted on the wheel well will work is if it extends almost to the ground. The angle of which debris comes off of the tires is very low at that point. They are made to protect the paint behind the tires, not whatever you're towing. The rock tamers and others similar are built for the purpose of protecting whatever you're towing. They sit back far enough and are wide and tall enough to catch most any debris that will come off the tires. They may not look the best and are a PITA to R&R but still easier and cheaper than having stone chips fixed.

Contact my buddy Jeff Hoefling at Lively Machine Company in Evansville, IN. He might have something already developed for you Chevy/Ram guys. These are what he created for F350's. Very quick to R&R. Doesn't interfere with parking sensors either (as do the Rock Tamers).

I really like these. Looks clean and obviously made for the truck.
Thanks.

Bough the 3inch Bullet proof hitch and thou bolted rock tamers on hitch. It comes off as one piece and sits on saw horses till I'm ready to hull anything. I run 40 inch tires and it stops the rocks!!!

I emailed him yesterday.
I figured that was his boat. The 42 you sold and his are my 2 favorite Fountains I have seen on Cumberland.
Have you found another boat?

ALL IN! was a cool boat for sure! Thank you!

We found a 34' Sunsation that had blue on it - should be back at Cumberland a time or two in 2021. Here is ALL IN! 2.0 ;-)
