The AirLift Ultimate is the best one as you can run it with 0 air pressure should you ever desire. All the other ones require at least 5 lbs or so. (They have an internal jounce bumper which keeps them fully collapsing perhaps causing a pinch and damage. The others that do not, need a couple pounds of air to prevent a pinch.) And you do not NEED a compressor. You can just run them to a schrader valve (valve stem) out the back of your truck. Set once for the weekend you are towing, and forget. But it would be my advice to get an onboard compressor, AND install train horns. www.hornblasters.com is my go to. (They sell everything you need for Air Bags too, and their customer service is great.) Train horns are a must for towing. I even have them on my DD F150. Until you've driven with them, and used them, you just don't know. I don't abuse them or use them to scare people. But I can't count how many evasive maneuvers and accidents I've been able to avoid due to getting a driver's attention when needed. |
Zip tie a jack between the frame and rear end .

Is it the new tires on the truck or bags ( 40psi ) or a combo of both making the load sway, wander side to side ?
