2021 Suburban with the 3.0L diesel engine

Is anyone out there towing 6000lbs with this new engine and the max towing package? I'd be interested in any feedback that's available.

we have the same engine in a gmc AT4 i pulled a 15,000 pound boat to see how it would handle it the thing comes alive like a tractor puller i was pulling up a hill from a dead stop and was doing 60 at the top still shifting the 10 speed is awesome so is the engine

this engine is very well engineered and its a inline 6 cylinder even with the offroad tires that come on the AT4 we are hitting 31 to 32 mpg guys with highway tires are around 34

Read the review in Car & Driver. They loved it.

I heard you had to pull the engine at 100k to check a belt in the rear of the engine.

External oil pump belt. I think the replacement interval is 150K.

1st year blues hit many manufacturers. I personally prefer to wait for min of 3rd year of something brand new to the market.

I have this in an AT4 Sierra 1500/Standard bed. I pulled my 34 MTI with it no problem. I also hauled a 16' trailer with two big Harleys. Only noticeable issue sis that it drinks DEF like fuel with a load. About 350-400 miles and it needs DEF.

When i got it I was getting high 20's in mileage and after adding wheels and a level kit I get about 21/22. But I run it 80+ everywhere. 20k miles wo a hiccup
